Assistant Fashion Buyer

My client, a rapidly expanding online retailer, is seeking a Assistant Fashion Buyer to join their highly successful business. This is a wonderful opportunity to begin your career in buying with a progressive fast-growing company. This role is based in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities of this role include:

• You will be tasked with ensuring suppliers submit set-up templates fully and accurately completed and that products are allocated across channels accordingly.
• The role will involve the generation and management of PO’s and liaising closely with suppliers to ensure warehouse and in-store stock levels are managed.
• Producing various sales, systems and ad-hoc information reports as required.
• Completing replenishment orders.

Requirements for this role include:

• The ability to build relationships with external and internal parties.
• A pro-active teamwork approach and strong communication skills.
• Task oriented with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft packages.
• Experience in a retail business preferred.
