Artic Driver

Negotiable Transport and Logistics Kildare

Excel Recruitment is now looking for an Artic Drivers to join our well know client’s team in Kildare Town

The rate of pay: €160 per day

Flexible start time. Early morning shift

Duties:

  • Transporting goods and raw materials from a warehouse or manufacturing plant to a retail and distribution centre.
  • Plan out your routes in advance and ensure you meet delivery deadlines.
  • Oversee the safe loading and unloading of goods.
  • Carefully manoeuvre your vehicle into the correct position.
  • Inspect your vehicle for any mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance
  • Report any accidents, violations, or defects in your vehicle
  • Document distance travelled and keep receipts
  • Comply with all relevant rules and regulations. This may include the size and weight of the merchandise, parking, and permitted rest period.

Essential Skills:

  • At least a year of driving experience
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and thorough execution.
  • Manual Handling Certificate
  • Valid CPC
  • Holding a good understanding of Health and Safety Legislation, Food Safety Standards and with a good geographic knowledge of the Irish road network
