Accounts Payable Assistant

Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting an Accounts Payable Assistant on behalf of our client in the Hospitality Industry. This Accounts Payable Assistant will become an integral member of the finance team, assisting our client in achieving their financial goals, delivering an efficient and competitive advantage to their customers.

Responsibilities of this Accounts Payable Assistant:

• Posting of large volumes of invoices
• Matching invoices to delivery dockets
• Balancing of supplier accounts at month end and preparation of supplier payments
• Supplier reconciliations
• Petty Cash reconciliations
• Other adhoc duties requested by AP Manager

Requirements of this Accounts Payable Assistant:

• Previous experience in a busy AP team is essential
• Previous experience in industry an advantage
• Proficiency in IT including excel skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Availability to work in Ireland full time with no restrictions
