Accounts Payable Administrator

€32000 - €38000 Accounting & Finance Dublin South

Excel Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator for our client based in Dublin 12.

Our client a leading Retailer is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join their busy team. The successful candidate will need to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Account Payable role and strong excel skills.

Please note this role is office based.

Duties will include:

  • Full ownership of the accounts payable process from setting up suppliers to making payments.
  • Input, process and code invoices accurately and timely in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Processing of payment to suppliers as per agreed payment schedules.
  • Building strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Reconcile creditors’ ledger statements on a monthly basis
  • Close creditors’ ledger within a tight deadline each month.
  • Other ad hoc responsibilities Primary contact for queries
  • Assist with queries from the management team

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounts payable role
  • SAP experience is highly desirable
  • Proven experience working with high volumes and tight deadline
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel
  • Excellent planning, organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised and pro-active with good attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
