Accounts Assistant

€35000 - €38000 Accounting & Finance Dublin, Dublin South
Excel Recruitment is seeking an Accounts Administrator for our client who specialises in the retail and fashion industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong reconciliation skills and payroll experience to join a dynamic team in Dublin. This is a full time permanent position.

Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile sales and purchase invoices
  • Perform daily cash receipts reconciliation
  • Maintain and update stock records
  • Support accounts and marketing departments with general admin tasks
  • Monitor debtor days and assist with debt collection
  • Generate sales invoices and purchase orders
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist with payroll processing
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the office
  • Prepare ad hoc financial and administrative reports

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts administration
  • Strong reconciliation skills across multiple accounts
  • Payroll experience is a distinct advantage
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with accounting software packages
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Positive team player with strong communication skills
  • Available to work Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
