My client, a leading supplier of premium sports and fitness equipment, is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Retail Showroom Manager to join their growing business in Dublin 12.
This is an exciting opportunity for a retail leader with strong operational and people management experience to take ownership of a flagship showroom environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day commercial and operational management of the showroom, leading and developing a high-performing team while delivering an exceptional customer experience across both retail and corporate sales.
The ideal candidate will have a consultative sales approach, strong operational and systems experience, and a passion for customer service, team leadership, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and customer service performance across the showroom environment
- Ensure the showroom is maintained to the highest standards in line with commercial guidelines and brand expectations
- Lead, coach, train, and develop a high-performing showroom team
- Manage the day-to-day operational performance of the showroom, ensuring efficient systems and processes are maintained
- Work closely with corporate customers, preparing quotations, managing invoicing, and following up on business opportunities
- Identify and develop new commercial and corporate sales opportunities
- Monitor store performance, inventory management, and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Implement strategies to drive sales growth and maximise revenue opportunities
- Collaborate with internal departments to improve operational efficiencies and customer experience
- Ensure accurate reporting and management of all sales activity through the company ERP system
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve systems, administration, and operational processes
Skills and Experience Required
- 3-4 years’ retail, showroom, or sales management experience within a fast-paced environment
- Strong consultative sales experience with a proven ability to drive commercial performance
- Excellent operational and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong people leadership skills with experience coaching and developing teams
- Systems and process-focused with strong technical aptitude
- Experience working with ERP systems and retail operations; Navision experience an advantage
- Commercially focused, proactive, and customer-oriented approach
- A genuine interest in sports, fitness, and wellness would be advantageous
