If yes, our client, one of Ireland’s most recognised and respected retail brands, is seeking a motivated Retail Trainee Store Manager to join one of their Dublin Stores.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded retail professional looking to build a long-term career in retail management.

Working closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, you will receive hands-on training across store operations, commercial performance, and people leadership while developing towards a future Store Manager position in a busy, high-volume retail environment.

As Trainee Store Manager, you will support the management team in the day-to-day running of the store while developing the commercial and operational skills required to progress into senior retail management within a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Trainee Store Manager

• Support the management team in delivering store KPIs across sales, productivity, and customer service
• Assist with the day-to-day operations of a high-volume store, ensuring high standards and smooth running
• Support stock management, merchandising, compliance, and health & safety procedures
• Lead by example on the shop floor while motivating and supporting the wider retail team
• Actively engage in training and development opportunities while identifying areas for operational improvement

Skills and Requirements for the Trainee Store Manager

• 1+ years’ experience in a retail Supervisor, Team Leader, or Management role within a fast-paced retail environment – Fashion, Non-food or Grocery all considered.
• Strong ambition to progress into Store Management within a high-volume retail business
• Positive, solution-focused attitude with the ability to work at pace and adapt to change
• Strong communication, organisational, and team leadership skills
• Commercially aware with a willingness to learn and develop operational management skills
