Kitchen Porter – Limerick

We are currently recruiting an experienced and dependable Kitchen Porter to support busy kitchen operations across Limerick. This role is ideal for someone who has previous experience in a fast-paced environment and can consistently maintain high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness across all kitchen and back-of-house areas
• Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as required
• Ensure proper waste disposal and follow recycling procedures
• Keep floors, work surfaces, and storage areas clean and safe
• Adhere strictly to HACCP, food safety, and health & safety standards

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Kitchen Porter in a busy kitchen
• Strong understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Manual Handling and HACCP certification required (training can be arranged)
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours
