Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of P&L performance, driving sales, margin, and profitability across all departments
• Lead, develop, and inspire a large, multi-department team, building a high-performance culture
• Deliver best-in-class standards across fresh food, grocery, and front-end operations
• Use commercial insight and KPI analysis to identify opportunities and implement effective action plans
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including stock control, labour planning, and cost management
• Champion an exceptional customer experience, ensuring consistency and quality across the store
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health & safety regulations

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a Store Manager / General Manager in a high-volume supermarket environment
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering results
• Experience leading large teams and management structures
• A hands-on, visible leader who drives performance on the shop floor
• Strong understanding of fresh food retail and operations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
