Fresh Food Manager – Limerick

Excel Recruitment are delighted to retain the opportunity to recruit a Fresh Food Manager for our ever expanding client in Limerick.

With major expansion and a full store revamp planned for Q2, this role offers the chance to take ownership of an evolving fresh food department and play a key role in shaping the store’s future food offering.

Salary: €50k DOE

The Role:

• Manage the overall performance of the fresh food departments including deli, bakery and butchers
• Lead, train and develop fresh food teams
• Maintain exceptional standards in food quality, hygiene and presentation
• Drive sales growth, margin performance and waste control
• Manage stock ordering, production planning and cost control
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP and food safety standards

The Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Fresh Food Manager in a supermarket environment
• Strong knowledge of fresh food operations and food safety standards
• Experience leading and motivating large teams in a busy retail setting
• Commercial mindset with the ability to drive sales and control costs
• Passion for delivering high-quality fresh food and excellent customer service
