Excel Recruitment are currently seeking a motivated and reliable General Operative / Delivery Driver Helper to join our team in Galway on a temp contract with a view to permanency. This is a hands-on role supporting warehouse operations and assisting with deliveries, working in a fast-paced warehouse, production, and distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently

• Ensure all items are packaged correctly to avoid damage during transit

• Label and prepare goods for shipping or dispatch

• Assist drivers with loading and unloading deliveries

• Support the driver on delivery routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods

• Help with route preparation and checking delivery documentation

• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse and vehicle area

• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times

• Carry out stock counts and general warehouse duties as required

• Work as part of a team to meet daily targets

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or delivery support role desirable

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Manual Handling cert required (Training can be provided).

• Ability to work efficiently under time pressure

• Physically fit – capable of lifting items and being on your feet for extended periods

• Good level of English – both spoken and written

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Flexible attitude and willingness to assist with both warehouse and delivery duties
