Payroll Specialist – Naas, Co. Kildare (Hybrid)

Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting a Payroll Specialist to join our team at our Naas office in Co. Kildare. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to take ownership of payroll processes within a supportive, fast-paced recruitment environment, while benefiting from a flexible hybrid working model. You will play a key role in ensuring payroll is processed accurately, compliantly, and on time, while working closely with HR, finance, and internal stakeholders.

Salary: €45k – €50k

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing in line with Irish payroll legislation
• Ensure full compliance with Revenue, PRSI, USC, and statutory reporting requirements
• Handle payroll queries and provide timely, professional support to employees
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data
• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and support audits as required
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient payroll operations
• Stay up to date with payroll legislation and best practice

Requirements:

• IPASS qualification is essential (Irish Payroll Association)
• Proven experience in a payroll role, ideally managing payroll end-to-end
• Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and compliance
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work to deadlines in a busy environment
• Strong communication skills and a high level of discretion
• Experience using payroll systems and strong IT skills
