Experienced Catering Assistant / Supervisor – Clonmel

Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Catering Assistant / Supervisor to support a busy catering and deli operation in the Clonmel area. This role is suited to a hands-on hospitality professional who is confident leading service, working with food, and managing tills in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

• Support the day-to-day running of a busy deli and catering unit
• Assist with food preparation, deli service, and presentation
• Operate the till and handle customer transactions accurately
• Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service
• Ensure compliance with HACCP and health & safety procedures
• Work independently to keep service running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a deli, catering, or food-service environment
• Confidence operating tills and handling cash
• Experience supervising or supporting staff an advantage
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy setting
• Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
• HACCP certification required (training can be facilitated if needed)
