Retail Manager-Galway

Our client, a well-known retail not for profit organisation, is currently seeking a Store Manager for their store. This store management job is suited to a people-orientated retail manager with previous retail supervisory experience within a fashion, non-food environment or furniture environment.

As Store Manager you will have strong commercial and operational retail experience, be hands-on, standards-driven and with a proven track record in delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop the Furniture Shop to meet agreed plans and financial targets
• Recruit, train, and appraise staff
• Source, secure, and display high-quality stock
• Maintain adequate staffing levels
• Ensure the shop is attractive and aligned with brand standards
• Complete administrative and financial tasks in line with Enable Ireland policies
• Undertake additional duties as required
• Work in a friendly, flexible, and informal manner

Skills and experience:

• Experience working in the retail sector at manager/supervisor level
• Ability to drive and achieve Sales Targets
• Strong Financial ability
• Strong Commercial experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience dealing with members of the public.
• Minimum of 1 year Experience in a similar type of role.
• Experience of stock management procedures and systems
