Store Manager – Co. Limerick

Excel Recruitment is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our client’s convenience store in Co. Limerick. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, driving sales and profitability, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Salary: €45k – €50k

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the forecourt, ensuring a high standard of customer service and site presentation
• Drive sales and profitability through effective merchandising, promotions, and upselling techniques
• Manage fuel operations, including stock levels, pricing, and compliance with safety regulations
• Utilise store systems to track performance, manage inventory, and optimise operations
• Lead and manage a team, providing training, support, and performance feedback
• Conduct recruitment and training of new staff, ensuring they are equipped with the skills needed to excel
• Implement and monitor health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing a convenience store or forecourt site
• Strong sales orientation with a track record of driving sales and achieving targets
• Knowledge of fuel operations and associated safety regulations
• Proficient in using store management systems and technology
• Excellent leadership and people management skill
• Experience in training, developing, and recruiting staff
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
