Store Manager – Ballina

Our client is seeking a driven and experienced Store Manager to take the lead of a high-performing retail store in Ballina. This is a hands-on management role offering responsibility, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact on store success. The successful candidate will have previous management experience within fashion, footwear, or sports retail and will thrive in a fast-paced environment where leadership, commercial awareness, and passion for retail are key to success

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all day-to-day store operations, including sales, staff management, customer experience, stock, security, and health & safety.
• Drive sales performance by meeting and exceeding store targets and KPIs.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop the team in line with company policies.
• Manage cash handling, payroll, budgets, and store systems (e.g. TMS, SAP).
• Deliver strong Visual Merchandising standards to inspire and engage customers.
• Ensure in-store services are fully staffed, promoted, and executed to a high standard.
• Maintain a safe and secure store environment, reducing loss and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures.
• Implement company initiatives and projects effectively.
• Uphold excellent store standards in line with audit requirements.
• Act as key holder and primary contact for alarm callouts.
• Support other stores when required and carry out additional duties to ensure store success.

Skills & Experience Required:

• 2-3 year’s experience in retail management (dependent on store grade).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership, and people management skills.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, with a clear understanding of how this drives sales and profitability.
• Experience in Visual Merchandising is desirable.
• Excellent product knowledge with a strong interest in fashion trends.
• Confident IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, email systems, and SAP.
