Supermarket Duty Manager – West Dublin

Excel Recruitment is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Supermarket Duty Manager to join our client’s store in West Dublin.

In this role, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning across all departments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a retail supervisory or management role, preferably within the supermarket industry.

Salary: €40k plus bonus

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the opening and closing of the store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and according to company procedures
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of department managers and staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to ensure adequate stock availability
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the store, adhering to health and safety standards
• Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner, striving to always provide excellent customer service
• Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of staff members, fostering a positive and productive work environment

Requirements:

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Sound knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales techniques
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
