Butcher Manager – Cork

Salary : €40k – €44k

Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced Butcher to join our client’s team in Cork.

Responsibilities of this Butcher Manager:

• Oversee the production of fresh meat products to ensure quality and consistency.
• Prepare, cut, trim, and portion meats to a high standard.
• Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene practices in line with HACCP regulations.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and manage stock rotation.
• Ensure efficient workflow and production schedules are met.
• Work closely with the team to maintain high production standards and minimise waste.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Requirements of this Butcher Manager:

• Previous experience as a butcher in a production or retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of meat preparation, handling, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
