Excel Recruitment, on behalf of our client, a well-established retailer, is looking for an experienced Butcher to join their team in Cork.

Our client prides themselves on offering high-quality fresh food to their customers, and they are seeking a skilled butcher to uphold these standards.

Salary: €35k-€39k DOE

Responsibilities of this Butcher:

• Prepare, cut, trim, and package a variety of meats to customer specifications
• Ensure the highest quality and freshness of products
• Maintain a well-stocked and visually appealing counter
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with their meat selections
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
• Manage stock rotation and minimise waste

Requirements of this Butcher:

• Proven experience as a butcher in a retail or food service setting
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat cuts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
