Fresh Food Assistant – Cork

Excel Recruitment is seeking a Fresh Food Assistant to join our client’s busy store in Cork. This is an exciting opportunity for a food enthusiast to work in a fast-paced retail environment, focusing on delivering high-quality fresh food products and exceptional customer service. Salary: €14.50 – €16.50 ph

Full Time: 40hr week

Responsibilities:

• Food preparation and replenishment of food displays
• Ensuring all HACCP and food safety standards are met, and that all documentation is up to date
• Dealing with customer queries to the highest possible standards
• Bringing forth new ideas to increase sales and standards within the department
• Ability to work in a team and have vast knowledge of promotions and specials
• Stock management and waste control

Requirements:

• Previous deli/fresh food/catering experience
• Genuine passion for customer service
• HAACP certification – training provided
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
