Catering Assistant – New Ross, Wexford

Excel Recruitment is currently looking for a dependable and experienced Catering Assistant to support our client’s food service team in New Ross, Co. Wexford. If you enjoy working in a busy kitchen environment, take pride in excellent customer service, and have experience with deli counters and tills, we want to hear from you!

Key Duties:

• Provide friendly and efficient service at the deli counter
• Operate tills and handle card/cash transactions with accuracy
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all food prep and service areas
• Support with food preparation and stock replenishment during service
• Work effectively as part of a fast-moving, supportive team

What We’re Looking For:

• Fluent spoken English – essential for customer service and team communication
• Previous experience working on tills and in a deli or similar food service environment
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• HACCP and Manual Handling certificates – required (training can be provided)
