About the Role

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a passionate and driven Sous Chef to join a dynamic kitchen team dedicated to food excellence. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes food – someone who respects ingredients, understands seasonality, and is excited by the artistry of modern Irish cuisine.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and menu development.
• Lead and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and creativity.
• Ensure the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene.
• Collaborate on seasonal menu changes that reflect the best of Irish produce.
• Contribute to the restaurant’s continued reputation for quality and innovation.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a high-end, award-winning kitchen.
• A genuine passion for food, ingredients, and culinary finesse.
• Strong leadership skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations, HACCP, and food safety.
• Creativity, ambition, and a desire to push culinary boundaries.
• Valid work permit to work in Ireland with no restrictions.
