Van Driver – Day Shifts – Lisburn

Excel Recruitment are excited to partner with a market-leading, innovative supplier based in Lisburn, who are seeking an experienced Commercial Van Driver to join their dynamic team. This role is initially a temporary position with an exceptional opportunity for long-term career growth.

As a Van Driver, you’ll enjoy a structured weekly rotating shift pattern. You’ll be rewarded with a competitive daily rate plus an attractive monthly bonus – recognising your hard work and dedication.

• Week 1: Monday to Saturday, 5:30 AM – 1PM
• Week 2: Tuesday to Saturday, 5:30 AM – 1PM

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a commercial van, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
• Perform multi-drop deliveries, ensuring goods are delivered on time and accurately
• Plan and follow efficient routes, mainly within Belfast City Centre and surrounding areas
• Inspect the vehicle before and after journeys, reporting any faults or maintenance issues
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately and promptly
• Report any incidents, accidents, or delays immediately
• Load and unload pre-boxed goods safely, following all health and safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence
• Minimum of 6 month’s experience in a similar commercial van driving or multi-drop delivery role
• Strong knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations
• Basic vehicle maintenance awareness
• Positive attitude with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
