We are currently recruiting an experienced Hotel Night Manager for a busy hotel in Skerries. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong front office and people-management experience to take responsibility for the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel throughout the night.
As Night Manager, you will be the senior point of contact overnight, ensuring guests receive an exceptional level of service while maintaining the hotel’s operational, safety and security standards. You will also lead and develop the Night Team and work closely with hotel management to support the overall success of the property.

Your Job:
- Take responsibility for the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel at night, ensuring the highest standards of guest service at all times
- Deal with all guest enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, taking ownership and finding effective solutions
- Take overall responsibility for health and safety overnight, including fire walks, security checks, first aid requirements and other relevant safety duties
- Perform Front Office duties, including guest check-ins and check-outs, completing the night audit and preparing relevant reports
- Manage and supervise the Night Porters, ensuring all nightly duties and tasks are completed to the required standard
- Provide Food & Beverage service overnight, including Bar and Room Service where required
- Lead the Night Team in achieving hotel standards and targets across mystery audits, customer comment index, quality evaluations and Health & Safety audits
- Ensure meeting and function rooms are cleaned, prepared and set up for the following day in accordance with hotel SOPs
- Lead, coach and develop the Night Team, helping team members build their skills and prepare for the next step in their hospitality careers
- Maintain excellent communication with other hotel departments to ensure an effective handover between night and day operations
- Identify opportunities to improve guest service and operational efficiency
- Contribute to the strategic and operational running of the hotel
What You Will Need:
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar Night Manager, Night Supervisor or Front Office/Reception role
- Previous hotel and hospitality experience is essential
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of hotel operations
- Strong computer skills with experience using Opera or similar hotel property management systems
- Knowledge or experience using the front office system would be an advantage
- Excellent people leadership, coaching and development skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, oversee and delegate work effectively
