Head of Marketing – Athleisure

Head of Marketing – Fashion

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Marketing to join a well-recognised fashion retailer and brand, based at their Dublin head office.

The candidate must come from a senior marketing role within fashion and with exposure to global markets.

The business has a strong omnichannel presence, combining a growing online operation with physical stores, and is stocked by over 80 retailers across Ireland and the UK.

This is a hands-on, end-to-end Head of Marketing role, responsible for owning how the brand shows up in the market, how customers are acquired efficiently, and how marketing investment translates into measurable commercial growth.

As Head of Marketing you will lead marketing strategy and execution across the business, collaborating closely with a lean internal team and trusted external partners.

The role requires someone who can make clear, data-driven trade-offs across priorities, channels, and spend to drive meaningful impact.

This is an ideal opportunity for a marketer who is equally comfortable setting direction at a strategic level and rolling up their sleeves to deliver.

This job is not suited if you prefer strategy without the responsibility of the execution.

The role suits someone who:

  • Has experience working with a globally recognised fashion brand
  • Values autonomy, pace, an ownership
  • Enjoys building and improving rather than managing large structures
  • Is commercially minded and pragmatic

Responsibilities for the job of Head of Marketing

Own marketing strategy and execution across brand, growth, and channels

  • Lead the full marketing agenda across brand, growth, and channels.
  • Define clear positioning for the brand competing locally and internationally, and translate strategy into day-to-day execution that drives awareness, demand, and revenue.

  • Manage marketing budgets, agencies, and partners directly, with clear responsibility for all metrics.

Partner closely with product, retail, and commercial teams to deliver joined-up campaigns

  • Work in close collaboration with product, retail, and commercial to plan and deliver integrated campaigns across e-commerce, stores, and wholesale.
  • Ensure launches, promotions, and seasonal moments are aligned and executed consistently across all customer touchpoints.

Work hands-on with creative, content, and product marketing to bring ranges and launches to market

  • Ensure go-to-market plans for new collections and hero products are aligned with product. From briefing and messaging to channel execution.
  • Ensure each range lands clearly, credibly, and on brand.

Build and lead a high-performing, lean marketing team

  • Lead, coach, and develop a small in-house team, setting clear priorities, goals, and accountability.
  • Create focus in a fast-moving environment by making smart trade-offs on what to do, when, and where to invest.

Track performance closely and adjust quickly based on what is working

  • Be relentlessly data-driven and action-oriented
  • Continuously assess performance closely across brand and growth metrics, using insights to continuously optimise campaigns, channels, and spend.
