Salary: €35k

As Checkout Manager you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, fast and consistent experience and ensuring the area is operating to the highest levels. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Checkout Manager looking for a new challenge or a Checkout Supervisor keen on progressing their career.

Key Responsibilities for Checkout Manager:

  • Oversee the checkout staff ensuring correct procedures are used
  • Monitor accurate cash management and resolve any discrepancies
  • Manage and maintain the checkout staff rota, training, and development
  • Coordinate with other department managers to ensure smooth operation and flow of the area for customers
  • Resolve any customer complaints/ feedback
  • Review/ monitor inventory in the checkout area

Requirements for Checkout Manager:

  • Previous cash-handling experience in a fast-paced high-volume area
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using and troubleshooting Point-of-sale systems

Responsibilities of this job:

The successful applicant for this Pharmacy Technician job will need:

  • Relevant IPU Pharmacy Technician qualification or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies
  • 2 years + experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good attention to detail is essential
  • Genuine passion for customer service and love for interaction with people, alongside discretion when addressing customer queries and t customer/patient information
