Health & Beauty Supermarket Buyer
Our Client, a Leading Multi-Channel International retail organization is currently looking to recruit a Health & Beauty Buyer for this category within their Supermarket chain. We are looking for experienced Retail Buyers who have experience buying in multiple buying office environment in the areas of Fashion buyer, Cosmetics buyer, beauty buyer or Accessories buying and of course Health & Beauty

The Job of a Health & Beauty Buyer
You will be responsible for developing business plans to drive performance of the category by interpreting trends, Customer Insight analysis, Assortment Development, Developing and executing Marketing programs and negotiating with existing suppliers whilst always looking for Product that will give you business a USP and keep it ahead of the curve.
The Job
- The development and implementation the long and short-term buying strategies
- To develop relationships with suppliers and find new buying opportunities.
- To be aware of trends and opportunities to improve profitability within the department.
- To lead negotiation with suppliers.
- To develop a supply base to support your strategy
- To ensure that innovation is at a level which keeps the range always ahead of market trends
- Managing and developing a specific portfolio of suppliers and brands
- Achieving budgeted LTA, Marketing and all other forms of buying income.
