JUNIOR RETAIL BUYER
Our Client is one of Ireland’s premier outlets for Fashion, Jewellery, and Giftware. This vacancy offers a unique opportunity for a junior buyer with a proven track record of buying within the fashion industry to work with our Head of Retail Buying. Based in Ennis, Co. Clare, you will be working as part of the Fashion Buying Team. This position requires an experienced, dynamic, fashion buying professional, who is focused on market trends, and customer requirements for quality fashion products. You must be committed to the achievement of outstanding results.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of buying within the one of the following areas: Fashion, Accessories and Jewellery.
· You will require excellent negotiation skills, and experience in dealing with suppliers.
· Candidates will ideally be self-driven, with a strong customer focus and possess strong interpersonal skills
· Candidates will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent.
The successful candidate will have a:
· Minimum of 2 years Buying experience
· High level of interpersonal skills
· Be target driven, with an ability to motivate and lead a retail team
· Strong Negotiation Skills
· Full Drivers Licence
You will be required to
· To attend national & international trade shows
· To schedule regular visits to Carraig Network of Retail Outlets
