Job Description
The Role
This is a Six month contract with a maximum annual salary of 50,000 paid pro rata. The role involves working for a retailer project managing the opening of some new stores
Key Responsibilities
To project manage and co-ordinate the installation of new store fit out.
To translate shop floor designs in AutoCAD into a series of implementation plans resulting in a fully functional retail store.
Generate tender documents in respect of building and service requirements from pre-agreed specifications and scope of works
Catalogue a fully comprehensive list of equipment required for the fit-out and compile full detailed specifications (either equipment and or performance in nature)
Preparation of full budgets based on tenders and client specifications
Liaise with suppliers / contractors and generate purchase orders as necessary
Act as main point of contact with building contractors and equipment vendors for the coordination of the fit out
Manage the design and changes as they occur
Provide a regular project update to client and project teams through a series of predefined meetings and reporting
Responsible for ensuring project comes in on budget and on time Sign off on the construction and implement project in conjunction with the client.
